Loudoun County, VA is a geographic and demographic anomaly. A model for balancing suburban sprawl, it's also the home of exceptionally dense concentrations of industries and wealth. The bathroom remodeling industry, for instance, thrives in Loudoun County because of relatively high home values and median incomes. As an example, Leesburg residents can drive 19.4 miles to Chantilly for shower doors, fighting traffic and marveling at an endless vista of stripmalls. Or they can drive 19.2 miles to Jefferson, MD, passing farmland on scenic Route 15 North. If Leesburg residents can get past the mental hurdle of crossing the Potomac River (c'mon people... it's not like you have to ford it on horseback), a paradise of shower doors awaits them.

Ringing in the New Year

Happy 2012! Barring a Mayan doomsday, we're looking forward to a fun, productive year, and we've got some exciting products and promotions in the pipeline. Expect to see some new shower hinge systems, adjustable frameless shower doors for fiberglass surrounds, and an increased selection of mirrors and glass shelves. There will also be some new displays in our shower door showroom at 3712 Jefferson Pike, Jefferson, MD 21755. We introduced the showroom in 2011 - launching with the most full-size shower displays in the DC Metro region - and there will be a slight pivot this year towards products like sinks, vanities, shower heads, etc. to complement our shower enclosures.
